On April 24th, President Obama told NBC’s “Today” show that he employs a fool proof strategy to discourage his two daughters from getting a tattoo. He said that if either girl gets a tattoo, both him and Michelle would get the same tattoo in the same place on their body and show it off on You Tube as a family tattoo. Well it looks like the girls have called his bluff.
Earlier today, TMZ posted pictures of Barack’s two daughters with matching “I love Mitt Romney” tattoos on their necks. According to the website, the girls were extremely upset that Barack had taken away their cell phones and wanted to get even with their dad.
While vacationing in Hawaii, the President’s daughters snuck out of their hotel rooms and headed to a local tattoo parlor to get their matching tats done. Afterwards the girls tweeted pictures of their recently inked necks with a tagline that read “Just got new tats. Dad is going to freak. We better start picking out our outfits for the family photo. LOL.”
When asked about the incident, the White House Press Secretary commented “The rumors about the President’s daughters are true. The girls realize they made a huge mistake and deeply regret their decisions. They have come to realize the humiliation this has brought to their father and plan on getting the tattoos removed immediately.”
The Press Secretary ended the press conference by answering the question of whether or not the President would follow through on the threat he made to his daughters. “Both the President and First Lady will stand by their statements made on the “Today” show and will be getting “I love Mitt Romney” tattoos on their necks later this week. They also plan on taking a family photo and posting it on YouTube shortly thereafter.”
